Our founding directors’ 50 years of experience are supplemented by the energy and drive of the Earl Kendrick Group, which we joined in 2023. This means we combine old-school values with a modern approach to the challenges facing 21st century property owners and managers.

Home Surveys
The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) categories surveys under three levels. A level one survey simply describes the condition of the property, using ‘traffic light’ ratings to indicate the condition of different elements and highlight any risks. A level two survey does all that but also includes advice on defects and ongoing maintenance. It can also include a valuation of the property. Level three is the most comprehensive report, providing an in-depth analysis of the property’s condition and detailed advice on defects, repairs and maintenance options.
At Bentley Snelling and Partners, we exclusively offer level 3 surveys, on the understanding that our clients want to take full advantage of our expertise.

A History in BUILDING SURVEYING
Half a century of history
From the City to the Royal Borough
Over the years, we have worked on multiple refurbishment projects at the Inner Temple, the historic heart of London’s legal profession. This included a major £600,000 development described as the biggest in living memory.
Other significant projects completed include working with a prestigious Paris architect on a £3.5 million project to redevelop a house at Eaton Square in Belgravia. And we regularly undertake major refurbishments to homes in Kensington and Chelsea.
Dedication to Detail
We believe detail matters, which is why we have devoted as much energy to the restoration of a period balustrade in a Grade II Listed building as we did to excavating the garden of a luxury home next to the Boltons in Chelsea to build a subterranean cinema.
Town and country
We have overseen the construction of a new home in Kensington, built as an extension to a Listed building, which won an award from the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.
We were also involved in the transformation of an existing agricultural building into a luxurious modern farmhouse at the epicentre of fully-equipped polo farm in beautiful Berkshire. Other recent projects outside London have ranged from renovating a £50 million estate in Berkshire to refurbishing a block of flats in Surrey.
